Doug,

If you are using SW series inverters make sure they are in a properly 
air conditioned environment as they have no conformal coating on the 
boards and will suffer from corrosion after a short time..

Batteries likewise should be in an air-conditioned environment as the 
salt air will cause severe corrosion very soon.

Earthing should be buried copper, galv steel rods will not last.
