I've used glue-filled heatshrink around the MC plug connections, usually for
security on pole mounts. I would think that the glue should deter rodents.
Doesn't solve chewing on the wires, though. I'd certainly consider using
conduit if I thought there might be a rodent problem. Seems like spreading
nasty gook on the wires is a temporary solution.
