We had a customer install a chain-link fence around their ground mounted
system. When I commented that I guess that was in order to keep the
animals out (they live on a farm) they said "no, that's where we keep
our dogs when we're gone." They thought it was a perfect place since the
dog's digging would keep the weeds down. Glad we put everything in
conduit and buried the pipe 24" deep!
