We're now designing for 63 degrees from horiz, which is latitude + 15, or
approximately the ideal avg winter orientation. This gives us enough
summertime boost to meet the load while keeping the spacing necessary to
avoid shading from successive rows of modules to a minimum. We're also
looking at making the rows succesively narrower by one less module as we
move up the tower to account for the narrowing tower width and increased
wind intensity (and overturning moment) with at height. Kind of a pyramid
shape.
