Dedicated pole transformers for grid tie [RE-wrenches]

I know one of the arguments utilities have used regarding PV is that 
they can not count on the output of a solar electric system being there 
- so they need to size the distribution large enough to power all the 
loads that might be present in case the sun fails to come up some 
morning....
