Not at all - go for it... We did look at making the PS2 work with the 
DRs and SWs as well but the amount of room required to allow the 
required working clearances around the end mounted DC terminals and AC 
connections made the PS2 much too large... Its a lot easier with the 
FX's front mounted terminals.  

I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures if you had some...
