Don't forget to mention that there are a couple of proven methods of 
reducing the loss by disconnecting the inverter from the grid in the 
off-hours: Solar Hacker's 'Inverter Master' ( http://www.solarhacker.com ), 
and my own Rube Goldberg contraption of using the grid usage timer to sell 
the battery down below the hysterysis value of the aux relay, thereby 
dropping a contactor connecting the SW to the grid (details upon request).
