I don't know why it was discontinued; Windy may be able to explain. Nor do I
have a good solution. I have advised customers to look for a solution
through the ranching and horse industries, rather than the solar industry,
as I suspect that this is a common problem in those fields, with
off-the-shelf non-electric products for remote stock tanks.
