Hi Drake,

I do believe that the use of the official Generac transfer switch will 
help alleviate some of the problems that I mentioned in my previous 
post. The off-grid systems I am familiar with did NOT use that X-fer 
unit, instead opting for the dry contacts within the Trace SW to take 
it's place.

But we also observed voltage regulators clipping the voltage and 
limiting the battery charging rate, engine governor problems and much 
more. All in all a good time was had by all and so I steer all my 
off-grid customers away from Generac.

Have fun.....I sincerely hope you have better luck than we did!
