Another concept might be to put the GFDI on the roof and have it interrupt
the current there. Any ground fault would trip it. It could be reset by
an push button near the inverter or DC disconnect, that would trigger a
relay on the roof.
Does anyone know of any real world problems that have developed with runs
through attics?
