Hi all,

I've been running SW inverters for the past decade or so and although off
grid I have experienced many hard transfers whilst switching betwee
generator and stand alone. I've never had any of the computers shut down
during these transfers but I don't believe the inverter could in anyway be
called a UPS, if for no other reason that it doesn't isolate the protected
loads from the vagaries of the quality of utility power.

By the way my current inverter (no pun intended) is a SW + and we don't
experience visable sag (flickering, dimming etc.) when starting big loads
like water pump, skill saw etc.

Regards,
