There's a reprocessing plant in Vegas supplying our local cardlock place here in Reno. I'm planning to blend some into my heating oil this summer and experiment a bit on small engines before feeding the F-250 with it.

Blue Sun Biodiesel in CO has a mustard seed & rapeseed based biodiesel for which they claim higher cetane and better lubricity than the soy-based variant. Still no word on when they will have production quantities, though.

We stopped because it gets cold up here and the stuff needs to be warmer both for processing and running in your vehicle. If it gets below freezing, you'll probably want to run a 50/50 blend of biodiesel with regular diesel.
> The processing itself is a dangerous messy business, and I DON'T recommend people cook up their own batches Ala Homepower magazine, etc. Either buy it from a commercial outlet, or put enough money into it to build your own small commercial processing plant. Its just not worth the risk to your health or the environment to not do it right. Maybe somebody out there is making a small sealed processing system that works and is safe, but the home brew methods we used based on the book "From the
Fryer to The Fuel Tank" didn't take into account the cold problems nor were there any tips on Solar powered processing (which is tough by the way).
