Hi Paul,
As I understand it only the manufacturer can install it, this may not be an issue for you. I would contact Bill Brooks as he is testing the product now along side most if not all of the competition (Bill you may wish to post your web site here, I will not take the liberty).

I think your listed concerns can be let go as I don't see any of them being an issue. Personally, I have little faith in the long term stability of this product. I've seen too many issues w/the "peel & stick" product in this regard.
