FX2024 [RE-wrenches]

Yes the FX2024 will power a 1/3 HP pump without any problem - it will
also run other loads at the same time without issues from my experience.

The peak surge is 70 amps AC at 120 VAC - it will do 50 amps for at
least 5 seconds. For 240 VAC loads - the peak current would be 35 amps
- one half of the 120VAC numbers.

We do now offer a "TURBO" option for the sealed FX series
inverter/chargers - it automatically turns on when the inverter gets
hot. This is good for heavy loads like well pumps as it will keep the
inverter cooler - improving the efficiency a little but ensuring
operation even at higher ambient temperatures. It also is very effective
on FX inverters when battery charging large banks of batteries - the
charger will remain at a higher current level (more amps out) compared
to the non-turbo'd unit. For this reason it is highly recommended for
all systems (except those which power limited loads with small battery
capacity).

The turbo is standard on the new sealed version of the grid-tie GTFXs,
which is now rated at 2500VA continuous for the sealed 24vdc model.
