Scott is 100% correct. 

One workaround (imperfect) might be to just shutoff the AQ125BS (solar)
backup heater (and save the pilot light fuel) when the solar hot water is
keeping up with the load. 

I've heard the same story about not sufficient demand for an updated solar
tankless heater in North America, which begs the question if Bosch, Takagi,
Rinnai, Noritz, Paloma (or others) have equipment that is not being
distributed to this subcontinent.

As always, find the area that has high energy prices (and reasonable sun)
and just copy their solution. Then, there will be no need to reinvent the
wheel. ("Follow the money" - Deep Throat)
