DC disconnects and the 2005 NEC code [RE-wrenches]

Hi Wrenches,

Has anybody heard where in the process the recommendation is for the 
2005 code for not requiring a DC disconnect for the PV wires near the 
entrance to a dwelling if they are run thru metalic conduit?

This would be a big advantage in some of the more architecturally 
sensitive installations while still providing safety.
