SR100's SR90's [RE-wrenches]

I am curious if anyone who installed SR90's and SR100's have ever had issues with the cells turning colors?  
One of my installations has about 1/2 the cells in the SR100's turning colors from black to blue and purple, and some even  have had a ring about the size of a 1/2 dollar (looks like burned) into them.
Anyone have these issues? I have sent photos off to Shell, but no response. 
I have yet to check the power output of the modules as they are not wired individually but in 24v pairs and I don't have a place to really test them under STC, but the voltage across the combiner box seems to be alright.
