inverter overload (was transformer inrush) [RE-wrenches]

Thanks for all the good advice. In order to relieve possible overloads on
the inverter I will:

1) install a small Automatic Transfer switch so the critical loads will not
be powered through the inverter unless a grid failure occurs.
2) Use several current sensing relays to prioritize the pumps and fridges.
For instance, if current is sensed on the septic pump circuit, the relay #1
will cut power to the well pump.
If current is sensed on fridge #1 circuit, relay #2 will cut power to to
fridge #2.
This way multiple motorized loads can't turn on at the same time, and the
problems will go away. I hope.
