Sharp SunVista and new panels [RE-wrenches]

Hi All,
So picking up on an old (11/03) thread ... On the Sharp 140/70
triangular panel system ...
So given this:

Then doesn't that mean that the Sharp 140/70 system is only good for
hip roofs at one certain roof pitch? I don't get how you can have a
set triangular system that would cover all roof pitches. For
anything but that pitch, wouldn't you have array lines diverging from
the hip or valley?
So how about a second wave of discussion on actual experience in the
filed with the Sunvista and the practical applicability of the 140/70
panels?
