Great for the computers (and rather affordable compared to most large UPS's BTW.)


Traditional arrangement in the telco industry is to use inverters for what electronics you can't run off -48 and feed the A/C directly from the ATS, usually at 480-3Ø or at least 240V to reduce switching and cabling costs.  Losing A/C for a minute or two while the genset starts and stabilizes isn't usually much of an issue.
