I have a client with 1 year old off grid SW4024 pv/gen/battery system.  
Just completed annual service check and found remote display only 
displays top line of text.  Since bottom line normally displays data 
values or menu selections, this problem makes the remote useless to 
owner.   Yes I have tried un-plugging and re-connecting cable with no 
effect and no, the display does not show "garbage" that is typical for 
cable interference.  The display on the SW unit works correctly.  The 25 
foot cable was installed from basement up to kitchen wall above prior to 
interior wall closeup, so cable replacement will be a major problem.  We 
returned display for warranty service and were told it was OK.     Any 
ideas?
