Inverters for GT with Batteries [RE-wrenches]

Allan,
Thanks for bringing us this important topic. The success of the Sunny Boy and
the likely comeback of the Sun Tie have not eliminated the desire for PV systems
that do not shut down because the grid goes down. I have a pre-GTI SW4048 that
has worked flawlessly since mid-1998. I think a few other wrenches have the
same. I have several engineer customers who had grid-tied SW4048s that worked
fine but were forced to add the GTI to get the local utility off their backs.
Their systems are finally working ok. I would like to offer something other than
the SW/GTI so I'll repeat the question. Anyone out there using something other
than an SW for grid-tie with battery?
Best regards,
Joel Davidson
