Remote Control Ceilng Fan [RE-wrenches]

Why doesn't our favorite manu put such filtering into the interior of
the inverter rather than recommending a wrench wire it up on the
outside?  Is it better to install it specific to some loads in the
system rather than filter the entire ouput?

For those following this discussion, we tried the 4 mfd 370 volt run
capacitor but it didn't work. No response from the fan. We then
installed
the 10 mfd 370 volt run capacitor and the remote operated the fan in all
modes! Good news.
