Last week one of my customers called me to have a look at his 2.4 kW
earthsafe system, because it was the first time in over a year he had to
pay for electricity. ($36.00 for two months which also included the
$7.00 service fee)

One of the GC-1000's was not inverting and back-feeding.  I called Shell
Solar and within 24 hours a new inverter was shipped to me.  Even though
I have to go back tomorrow and switch out the unit, this is very
positive experience for me.  I just love having customers who are
thrilled with their PV's performance.  With one inverter shut down the
homeowners meter was still tricking slowly in reverse at 4:00PM.
Apparently LADWP changed out his electric meter over a year ago with a
zeroed meter.  This person has a small stack of bills which all show
extremely high meter reading because the meter has never been above zero
until very recently.  The speedy service from Shell Solar may allow his
meter to go back into the negative numbers again.  I am as happy as my
customer.
