600 VDC switches [RE-wrenches]

Travis:

My Cutler-Hammer spec. book gives the following info for the DH361URK
Safety switch:

3 Pole

30 amp rated @ 3 phase 240  to 600 volt AC

10 amp rated @ 1 phase 240 to 600 volt AC

5 amp rated @ 250 volt DC

Not rated for any load at 600 Volt DC

NOTE - This part number has the following note added:

"For 600 Volt DC rating, use 6 pole switch and series wiring, with
amp rating the same as the 2 pole model"

In other words, your salesman did not read the fine print at the
bottom of the page.
