Well pumps and SWs [RE-wrenches]

Assuming you are using a single SW5548 - it is very marginaly.

The "locked rotor amps" off the Franklin Electric chart says 34.2 amps @ 
240 vac - so it would be 68 amps+ on the 120 VAC side.  This puts it 
very close to the 78 amp RMS output limit on the SW series.  Might work 
- but what about when the wash machine or microwave is running?

Running a step-up T-240 transformer for the other well pump is not out 
of the question - but a second inverter would be another option. I am 
sure you could put in another switch (float or pressure) that would then 
power up the transformer and pump with 240 VAC and then its control 
would engage.
