Battery choice: one string or two? [RE-wrenches]

Blair,
The FX replaced a Trace 2024SB or 2524SB, the series before the U series. He
took a lightning hit, and fast repair service (and in many cases slow repair
service) is gone for this series.

The FX2024 has a 60A charge rate. That's C/20 on either string choice.
What's the problem?

Blair, I missed your point here:
