drop of 29 percent.  Anyone care to explain why one should ever consider a
Uni-Solar 64 module or other Uni-Solar a-Si modules for that matter? Maybe
BP Solar knew more than most people when they stopped their a-Si line last
year...Interesting that thin films have been touted for decades as the Holy
Grail to dramatically bring down the cost of PV power.  Yet for decades,
crystalline silicon continues to be dominant.  And with manufacturers like
BP Solar and Sharp getting more power out of the same surface areas,
crystalline Si would seem to be in little danger of losing its preeminent
position.
