Why the .9 derating factor?
I generally take a slightly different approach. I figure that a 48V
inverter should pretty easily give full power down to about 44V. In
that case it would be 3600/44*1.25=102.28. Either way, I agree that
you should round up to the next available size of 175A. The only real
downside is a jump from 1/0 to 2/0 cabling which I really don't have
a problem with anyway.
