Xantrex versus Sunny Boy [RE-wrenches]

It stands for "integrated gate bipolar transistor' - basically the
fore-runner before MOSFET technology.  Once MOSFET's hit the scene, it
pretty well took over most, if not all, applications.     And no question is
a dumb question.
