Trilliant Breaker needed [RE-wrenches]

Allan:

NEC 690 also allows you to interconnect on the line side of the main
service disconnect.
This would avoid the need to find an obsolete breaker.
Just tap the lines feeding the load center and then install a fused
disconnect (allowed under tap rule) at the service location.
The disconnect then meets the requirement for the disconnect and has
overcurrent protection to boot.
Murray makes a NEMA 3R, 2 pole, 30 Amp, fused disconnect that is
service entrance rated - about $25.00.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further assistance,
please to not hesitate to contact me.

Wrenches,
I have done an initial site visit for a Sunny Boy system. The house has
two
Square D "Trilliant" load centers. There are plenty of breaker spaces
available, but no unused breakers. Our supplier says that the line was
discontinued by SqD about 5 years ago, and breakers aren't available
anymore. I'm not surprised--the stuff is all white plastic that looks
like
it was made for the cheapest kind of mobile homes.

Has anyone a line on a 2P 15A? Or a 2P 20A, or even a 1P 20A for an
1800? I
want to know if I can source a breaker before we offer a quote on a
grid-tie
system.

Thanks for any responses. Off-list replies are best:
