Conduit inside the tracker pole [RE-wrenches]

Regarding the "Code Issues" associated with running "unprotected
conductors" inside the tracker pole:

1. As long as the entrance to the pole is properly bushed and the pole
is grounded, this application is generally suitable. (Signs have been
installed without internal conduit in the poles for many years.  The
pole serves as the raceway.)

2. Although admirable, internal conduit is not required unless there are
multiple sources of electricity in the same raceway.  (I.E. AC & DC)

3. Vertical support of the conductors internally is generally not "an
issue" due to the relative short height of most trackers.  If you are
going up 100', then you get into a situation...  NEC 300.19 and the
associated table address this.
