This is a simple approach but it gives a pretty good idea. Based on $7,000/kW installed, a 1kW system will see about .72 kW at the AC bus x 5hr. Iso x 365 (days/yr.)x 30 (industry standard for PV life and conservative) = 39,420 kWh. 7,000/39,420 = $0.1775/kWh over 30 yr. life. This is w/o incentives. You can plug in your incentives and install costs and get there. Here in CA for a business paying PG&E around $0.18/kWh I can deliver installed PV power AFTER all incentives State and FED. at $0.04/kWh over 30 yr. in most cases with typical install logistics.
