Thanks Windy,

I'd add to this that a tech at Delta told me there was no difference
between the LA 302R and the LA 302DC except the label.  I hope he was
right as I use the LA302R on the low voltage DC side in many systems.
Locally available and cheaper through my supplier.

General opinion for years has been that Delta is better than nothing, 
but not much. Polyphaser is probably best, but expensive.

Another source, maybe in-between in cost, is Transtector. Unlike 
Delta, they do make devices that are specific to the various DC 
voltages that we use.

They are supplying arrestors to Outback, so any of those would be 
best bought through Outback.
