Fair price for used inverter [RE-wrenches]

Friends:

I have a long standing client with a damaged inverter in her mobile home
(don't do these anymore, but she is such a nice person...).  It is a 12
volt 2Kw Exide (looks just like the old Trace units with the clear front
panel, don't know model number).  One of my employees has a used one in
operating condition that he is willing to sell.  How much is one of these
units worth?
