I have a customer with a 12v 2000 watt Studer sine wave inverter having
intermittent problems running a HP LaserJet 1000 printer. I have tested it
with various battery voltage levels (from 12.2 at the lowest up to 14.6v)
and the situation that causes the inverter to shut down has eluded us to
this point. The printer will work fine for periods of time using 300 to 400
watts and everything is fine. Occasionally the inverter will shut off when
the printer is being used, batttery voltage has been at various low, middle
, or high ranges during shut down and I have also monitored current and have
not seen more than 35 amps drwan during this time. The Studer will reset and
operate fine.

Any comments?
