Rant on.
Power outages are part of personal responsibility in each of us. For those
totally on the grid, how many actually practice personal responsibility?
Do the utilities encourage it? Nope, it will conflict with the utility
companies profit line.
Their [the utilities] answer is bigger, redundancy, and more gadgets and the
public will pay for it. Again and Again.
Politically and financially it is tied to what the utilities want.

Crisis breeds fear, fear breeds reaction, reaction is just that re-action.
Reaction is recycled ignorance.
Recycled ignorance is the same old - same old - same old box, on another
day.
Rant off.
