phonebook advertising for PV [RE-wrenches]

Hello Wrenches

It is that time of the year for the phone book people,  tout how great
it will be to put a larger ad in the Verizon Yellow pages.  I always get
calls for solar hot water, which is not what we do here.  I asked last
year to create a separate heading for PV only!  They tricked me into
going for a larger ad, only to tell me 2 weeks after the ink dried that
they couldn't put me in a separate heading.

How is everyone's ad doing?  Especially in California?  Do the ads work
with all of the pre publicity from the "energy crisis"?  Is there any of
you who can say it really has an impact on their businesses?  A lot of
tire kickers? Price shoppers?
