Installation details [RE-wrenches]

Hi Max:
We have used gutters for at least 50 systems since 94'. We have been
aware that we are mixing the AC and DC wires in one enclosure, and we
continue to do this. On one instance, an inspector called us on this, and
we retrofitted the gutter with a divider. All other times, we have passed
the inspection.
What is most surprising to me is that many inspectors never even look at
the equipment. On one occasion, earlier this year, we received a final
inspection on a system when we called for the underground inspection. That
residential grid tied with battery. back-up solar system was 3.84 Kw, and
only the array had been installed! The power building was not even built
yet!!! In fact, the system was mid-process of being re-designed, after the
SWs lost their UL listing! It turned out that the system wasn't completed
for over 6 months.
The fact that we had received the final, made us eligible to receive the
rebate before the system had been completed. However, we did not file the
CEC's final paperwork until after system completion.
Last month, we received a final inspection without the inspector
entering the power building where equipment was located. I was not on site.
