SWR2500U Some derating likely [RE-wrenches]

John and Bill,
Thanks for the quick replies. It looks like the estimated 25-year $/kWh cost
is approx. the same for 22 each PC140s with the inverter in shade versus the
lower-cost, lower energy producing configuration of 20 each PC140s with the
inverter in sun. The inverter will last longer (how long?) installed out of
the sun and with good ventilation, but how do you quantify heat derating?
