phase converter? [RE-wrenches]

The classifieds in CEE News (www.ceenews.com) (recently merged with EC&M)
lists rotary phase converters (probably similar to the motor - generator
sets previously discussed) by Eylander Electric in Everett, WA tel 425 259
1601. Another ad lists Digital Phase (balanced) Converters from Phase
Technologies in Rapid City, SD tel 866 250 7934 www.phaseperfect.com).
Naturally, the pitch is to convert _to_ three phase rather than _from_ .
Sorry, no personal experience with either of the firms.
