Uni-Solar laminates [RE-wrenches]

They go down pretty easy if you move slow and careful, it is best done with 2-3 people. They really stick so once they touch the metal that is it - no moving it around. You will typically have only an 1/8" clearance on each side between the laminate and the seam, there is no tolerance for the 18' long laminate "walking" when rolling it out. You can walk on them, but the metal is the weak link, you can't hurt the laminate but the metal will buckle if you do not step over a support. You must/can only bond the metal pans. Finally, you must go through training and certification w/Uni-Solar before they will sell you a self-install product. Once you've done a few you can get it down to 5-10 min. a laminate.

Good luck!

Anyone out there have much experience with Uni-Solar's 128-watt peel-and-stick
a-Si laminates? How's the install? How well do they stick? Can they be
walked on with your tennies? How are they grounded, if at all?
