High Voltage Charge Controller [RE-wrenches]

Travis,

I believe you should put the inverter and batteries at around 250' from the
array, and use an RV MPPT controller.
Their MPPT really works as advertised, you cut down a bit on the ultra-long
DC run, and AC works quite well in longer runs. This way you don't need an
exotic Beta unit in your customers installation, you won't need to invest in
4/0 wire and your customer will still like you!

I have done this on a couple of systems and it works quite nicely.
