generator question [RE-wrenches]

Hi Todd,

If you expect your customer to have "very limited" use then there is no
reason to spend much money on a generator. Get a easy to move unit that can
be stored indoors when it's not in use. It will last a very long time
running several hundred hours a year. These new inverter generators are
ideally suited for running battery chargers. Look back at the messages
about them from a few months ago. The 1800 RPM units are nice, especially
the Kohlers but you'll pay for them since they are what's called "primary
power",essentially industrial, units. It really depends on what you're
needs are.

They are very quiet, easy to start, light weight, fuel efficient, compact
and only output 120 so there is no need to balance the legs with a
transformer. I've used mine a lot since I got it and am really impressed
with it. I would suggest that you steer your customer way from the added
expense of propane unit and adding a fuel treatment like "Stabil" to the
gas. I've been very happy with lack of trouble with all of my small engines
since I started using it.
