Wrenches,
My conclusions echo Matt's. I bought one of the Explorer 10,000 BTU
catalytic "patio" heaters (with tank storage in the same roll around box)
about three years ago. It arrived in a very sturdy pine framed box. I
tried to order another recently and was told "they" discontinued it. When I
asked for the manufacturer to work out my own deal Paul said they would
handle the transaction. It was a reasonable foreign product ( with totally
inadequate documentation) at a reasonable price (provided it arrived
intact) handled by a flaky company.

     We also had

a direct vent wall
>heater. They resisted doing anything about either problem and acted very
put out over it!

>I actually visited their "factory" in Oxnard when they were located there
and discovered it to be
>merely a warehouse. They also were only able to supply a manual written in
TURKISH for the heater.
>Couldn't understand a word. They never supplied one in English. I still
have the heaters. When they
>moved to San Diego, they said it was to be nearer the factory. One weird
outfit!
