Topica was down [RE-wrenches]

Hello Wrenches,

Several of you noticed that mail was not being posted to the wrenches list yesterday. Some of you also noticed that the Topica web site was not available, either.

Normally I would let you all know in advance if something like this is going to happen, but in this case I was out of town at MREF when Topica notified its list managers. So, I did not get the notice until my return yesterday, and by then Topica was already down.

Topica took the whole site down for maintenance. In the past when they have done this, they have been very good at holding all emails in the queue for delivery after they go back online. Yesterday appears to be no exception to that.

The web site is back today, but it is spotty.
