Hi Chris and all,

PV controllers talking to Inverters? Hurray, about time! Knowing
you guys you are probably also going to include the KWHr meter in
that loop? I'm tired of sychronizing Tri-Metric, C40, and SW
settings. It's great when the customer is involved and knows what
his Tri-metric readings mean but that's not always the case. A
simple equalizing charge becomes a whole education all over again.

The ideal grid/stand alone inverter in my mind would do it all and
the meters the customer reads would be the same reference that the
charge control and inverter are using and hopefully including state
of charge - not just voltage settings in the mix! You could even add
delivered vs produced energy vs sold back energy to the meter - that
would be a great system fine tuning tool as well as a great way to
promote solar!

Will the new inverter do any of that Chris?

Best,
