How about some Guerilla "gas"? [RE-wrenches]

When I lived in Arkansas, the price of bottled gas went from $0.06/gal in
1972 to $0.70/gal in 1974 thanks to the first oil embargo so I made a
batch of methane and burned it on a regular stove burner. I was impressed
by the heat from the nearly invisible flame, but I didn't handle enough
manure on my little horse and mule farm to justify building a big digestor
even though the poop was free

But using expensive PV to make hydrogen is another story. Perhaps a Home
Power tinkerer with a PV powered hydrogen separator or someone at the
Schatz Energy Research Center at Humbolt State University can can report
the practical use of homemade hydrogen (hint).
