Colorado net metering [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches:

Public utility or not, the eventual "win" is still a "win". Many battles
have been fought in this arena, with many more to fight. It is through
victories and the precedents set by them that we inch closer to uniform
requirements.

When another Wrench, in another locality has similar battles to fight, they
can draw on the experiences of others for their ammunition. As a Utility
Representative, I can say that we work very hard to convince other Utilities
to adopt our policies in this matter. We openly share our forms & policies
to effect the changes we see as necessary industrywide.

Keep up the good fight Allan and all of you.

PS - Todd. At least you said you only "sometimes" say the utilities are the
bad guys.

absolutely NO need for expensive dual metering or dual register digital
metering. Their $500.00 fee for the special meter was in violation of the
California net metering law, but it took litigation on my behalf by the
state PUC to get them to change their policy... sigh. And people wonder why
we sometimes say the utilities are bad guys.
