Insurance problem [RE-wrenches]

I'm astounded that this is even an issue.  Our home in Colorado is insured
through State Farm and there are no hassles at all with it being off-grid.
The issue was never brought up by them and my agent knows full well what my
house is all about.  He visits my website from time to time.

What the hell are they giving as a reason not to insure?
